Three of my favourite things

These are my three favourite purchases so far this year!

A gorgeous bag from Topshop. I adore the colour of this bag; it's what caught my eye.

Clinique exfoliator for oily skin. This stuff leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and super clean. It has a gorgeous, slightly minty, smell.

My bargain Forever 21 brackets which were in sale for only £1.50 each! I wanted them and the price tag only made me sure I was going to buy them.

Printed Blouse

Today I'm Wearing.....

I am finally feeling well again after my operation and I decided to wear a printed blouse with a silky skater skirt out for dinner! Printed blouses seem to be everywhere are the moment, and I also love them with leather skirts!

Winter Warm

I haven't got an outfit of the day from the last few days as I have been really unwell. I do however, had a winter outfit from a couple of weeks ago which I didn't end up posting.

Winter Sparkle

Today I'm Wearing

There is nothing better than adding a bit of sparkle to an outfit when it's dark and cold outside. I wore this beautiful sparkle top (similar here and here) with a pair of trousers from River Island and a pair of tan boots.

1) I am an only child

2) My favourite colour is yellow. It always makes me smile. I wouldn't however, often choose to wear it. 

3) I love crisps; they are my weakness 

4) I am allergic to kiwi fruit

5) One of my favourite things to do is go to the cinema (sometimes just for the sweets!)

9) I find sale shopping very challenging! It is far too messy and busy.

1) Where would you travel if you could go anywhere right now?

I would go to the Carribean. I love the sun, especially in January in England when it is dark, cold and wet.

My dream job......I would love to own an online clothing boutique!

My favourite actress is Rachel McAdams. She starred in The Notebook, my favourite ever film, and I have enjoyed all of the films she has acted in. 

5) What is your guilty pleasure?

My guilty pleasure would have to be girlie films and crisps!

6) If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be?

I would trade places with Olivia Palermo - can you imagine the clothes?!

7) What is your favorite song?

My favourite song is Everything by Michael Buble. 

8) Do you have any pets?

No

9) What is your favorite fashion item from your closet?

My favourite fashion item would have to be something classic.... a simple LBD which has the ability to be updated and accessorized each season. As there are not many women out there who could purchase a new dress for every occasion, a LBD which can be 'fashionized' is the perfect solution!

10) What beauty product can you not live without?

La Roche Posay face wash! I love the feeling of a clean face. If I could have a second it would definitely be mascara. I never leave the house without it. 

11) What is your favorite season?

The summer - I love sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day. In fact every day seems better when the sun is out.

Blue Print Dress

Today I'm Wearing.

A beautiful dress from  NeverFullyDressed in the sale,with my Massimo Dutti necklace, Zara knee high boots and vintage watch from my Mum. 

This is one of my favourite dresses at the moment as it is such a pretty colour, pattern and is so easy to wear.

A dress from River Island S/S'12 collection, a jacket from Forever 21 and Zara knee high  suede boots. 

Winter Sun - Leopard Fun

For the last night in Grenada I chose this dress from Forever 21 (here) with my gold and black chain sandals from River Island. 

If I wore this in a winter climate I would pair it with black tights, boots, a fitted jacket, gold necklace and a soft floaty scarf! 

Winter Sun - Maxi Delight

A silver grey and black animal print maxi dress fro Jane Norman was my outfit of choice for cocktails and dinner.

Winter Sun- Cream Chiffon and Hog Island

This has to be one of my favourite purchases for this holiday! I lusted after this Zara dress over the summer bu it was £70 (or somewhere around that price) and I just couldn't justify spending the money on a cream dress as I tend to spill things whenever I am wearing white or cream!

A while later I spotted this dress in the sale for about £25 - bargain!

I teamed it with a Limited Edition gold stud clutch from Primark and gold and black chain sandals from River Island.

Winter Sun - Stripes and Snorkelling

This stripe dress was a sale purchase from a Topshop concession, and again it is a simple style with bold colours and stripes. I paired this dress with a necklace in the style of the J.Crew 'must have' and Primark sandals.

Winter Sun - Hot Pink NYE

I rang in the New Year with a hot pink beaded dress and black patent points from Zara! I gave you all a sneak peak of this dress on NY's, but now have a couple additional (and clearer) images to show you!

 I bought the dress from Jane Norman about 2 weeks ago, but unfortunately cannot link it as it doesn't appear to be on their website!  

Winter Sun - Simple Sundress Fun

As you know, I spent the holidays in away in Grenada. This was the first time I have ever been away for Christmas before and I have to say I loved spending Christmas day on the beach with my family.

Grenada is a beautiful and friendly island, and I am already getting the holiday blues! Looking back at my holiday photos (I only touched down in England this morning) is making me want to go back already.

Over the next few posts I aim to update you on my holiday outfits.

This sundress is one which I bought in the summer, so isn't available anymore. It is a classic style which always appears in the shops in the spring/summer collections. I love opting for a simple sundress with a bright pattern to make it slightly different (similar styles here, here, here and here). I paired the dress with my Primark clutch and sandals.

Whilst away I also tried to make the most of the weather by waking up early and walking along the beach or renting a kayak for an hour - I didn't always manage to kayak for a whole hour; such hard work!

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope everyone had a wonderful time ringing in the new year and I wish you all a safe and happy 2013.

Unfortunately the wifi here isn't brilliant so I have been unable to load all the photos of my holiday outfits - I will upload them when I get home of course- but in the meantime here is a sneak peak of my NYE outfit and party 'hat'.
