Daywear

I bought this dress for the summer, but now the winter is here I decided to wear it as a top with some coral coloured jeans!

Pink Leopard

Outfit of the Day

Today I'm Wearing....

As you are probably aware, I love a bit of leopard print. Tonight I went out for a chinese and I wore a leopard print chiffon hi-lo top with my River Island jeggings, gold necklace from Greece and Primark leopard print flats!

MUA undressed

There has been a 'buzz' surrounding MUA undressed eyeshadow palette and I bought it around 2 months ago in Superdrug for only £4! I wanted to wait until I had used the product for a while before reviewing it. Since I bought it I have used every shade (as you can probably see by the scuffed packaging) and at different times and occasions i.e. day, evening, on holiday, parties etc.

I have to say that I am really impressed with it! The colours are really easy to wear and usable and as they are soft and creamy. They are easy to apply and blend and the colours have a highly pigmented, luxe, shimmery quality to them.

With regards to the staying power, I find that the colours always last throughout the day. The more nude colours seem to 'fade' faster, but then I personally find that with all eyeshadows. They also lasted really well on a hot  holiday - which is always a test!

I could fault this palette - and for only £4 it is even more of a must have!

From top left hand shade:
shade 1, shade 2, shade 3, shade 4, shade 5, shade 6, shade 7
From bottom left hand shade:
shade 8, shade 9, shade 10, shade 11, shade 12, shade12, shade 13, shade 14

My favourite shade for the brow bone is shade 1. My favourite all over lid shades are shade 2, 4 and a light dusting of shade 7 occasionally. My favourite darker colour is shade 9- I love it. Shade 13 and 14 are great but only for a more smokey sultry look as they are very dark on - shade 14 has a gorgeous blue quality to it which makes it a bit different.

London Outing

Today I went to London to look around Spitalfields market and have some lunch.

I wore new black trousers/jeggings from River Island, leopard print shoes from Primark, a gold top (brand name: Lola and Eva) and the cream version of my Sweewe jacket (black version here).

Topiary Tree

I made this table decoration the other day and I am really pleased with the outcome!

You need:
vase/ flower pot
cement
bamboo stick
oasis (sphere)
flowers

1) Pour cement into the flower pot and then push the bamboo stick into the wet cement and let it dry.
2) Put the sphere oasis on top of the bamboo stick. Put wire or string around the sphere in a 'check' pattern to stop it from crumbling.
3) Get the ivy and push it into the underneath of the sphere and wrap it around the bamboo stick so that it creates a curtain to hide the bamboo stick. Make sure the Ivy is long enough so that it doesn't end halfway down the bamboo stick.
4) Start to decorate the sphere with flowers.

Voila - you have a really beautiful table decoration!

DIY 'jewelling'

I bought this top a while ago and it has already featured on my blog (here). Unfortunately, the very first (and last) time I wore it I got the top caught in my jean button. As a result, the silk weave parted and it left a white mark which was really noticeable at the bottom of the top!

I decided to buy some stick on 'jewels' from Hobbycraft and covered it up by creating a little flower pattern which I continued in various places, leading up towards the flower. I also added pink and blue jewels to the flower too. I was unsure of how it would turn out, but considering the top was unwearable otherwise I thought I would give it a go.

In all, I am really pleased with the result and will definitely be experimenting again with stick on studs/jewels etc!
