London Outing
Today I went to London to look around Spitalfields market and have some lunch.
I wore new black trousers/jeggings from River Island, leopard print shoes from Primark, a gold top (brand name: Lola and Eva) and the cream version of my Sweewe jacket (black version here).

Topiary Tree
I made this table decoration the other day and I am really pleased with the outcome!
You need:
vase/ flower pot
cement
bamboo stick
oasis (sphere)
flowers
1) Pour cement into the flower pot and then push the bamboo stick into the wet cement and let it dry.
2) Put the sphere oasis on top of the bamboo stick. Put wire or string around the sphere in a 'check' pattern to stop it from crumbling.
3) Get the ivy and push it into the underneath of the sphere and wrap it around the bamboo stick so that it creates a curtain to hide the bamboo stick. Make sure the Ivy is long enough so that it doesn't end halfway down the bamboo stick.
4) Start to decorate the sphere with flowers.
Voila - you have a really beautiful table decoration!

DIY 'jewelling'
I bought this top a while ago and it has already featured on my blog (here). Unfortunately, the very first (and last) time I wore it I got the top caught in my jean button. As a result, the silk weave parted and it left a white mark which was really noticeable at the bottom of the top!
I decided to buy some stick on 'jewels' from Hobbycraft and covered it up by creating a little flower pattern which I continued in various places, leading up towards the flower. I also added pink and blue jewels to the flower too. I was unsure of how it would turn out, but considering the top was unwearable otherwise I thought I would give it a go.
In all, I am really pleased with the result and will definitely be experimenting again with stick on studs/jewels etc!

The Colour Red
Outfit of the Day
Today I'm Wearing....
Red has been a really popular colour on the runway.....and I have to say I am a huge fan of this trend. Red is such a stand out colour and it looks amazing either with black or more neutral, beige tones.
I teamed my red dress with a black jacket from H&M, a gold floral inspired necklace and black wedges.

La Roche-Posay
Before I went away, I wasn't very well and as a result my finace ended up packing a lot of my suitcase. When we arrived in Greece, I found that my cleanser, exfoliator and toner had been left at home.
As many of you already know, my skin had cleared up a great deal after using the Lumie Clear Lamp. It had got slightly worse before I went away as I wasn't so good at using it! Oops! I was therefore most upset as I was really worried about finding an oil-free facewash that wouldn't cause any more breakouts than I usually get on holiday - my skin always flares up from the suncream as I have greasy skin.
I looked everywhere for my facewash - Neutrogena - but couldn't find it anywhere. I ended up buying La Roche-Posay Purifying Foaming Gel for Oily/Sensitive Skin! What a find!
Whilst on holiday, even with the application of suncream two/three times a day, my skin not only didn't break out - it got better (nearly clearing completely)! My skin has never even stayed the same on holiday before, it always gets worse, so this is truly amazing!
I would thoroughly recommend this facewash, and bought a few bottles before I left!

DIY pearl necklace
I made these pearl and ribbon necklaces the other day! I used to love making bracelets and necklaces when I was younger, and I was browsing in HobbyCraft the other day when I thought I would try it out again......
To make:
1) I tied a knot using three pieces of ribbon.
3) I then threaded the pearl onto the outside left ribbon and plaited that ribbon over the middle ribbon
4) I then continued this pattern.
I wore the red pearl necklace here and the matching bracelet I made.
